God of Tender Mercies,
We humbly come to you in prayer. O Lord, often we begin the day with grand intentions. Many times those intentions are smothered by negative thoughts and negative people. Please forgive us when we lose our focus. You call us to be faithful in the good times and the bad. May our Christian witness be consistent. May our Christian service be sustained. May the hope that comes to us through Jesus Christ our Lord continually encourage us so that our intentions may become reality. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.
