O Divine Presence,
Today we pause for a moment and think of the love and the grace that You shower on us. We are created in Your image and likeness. Dwell with us, we pray. Open our hearts and our minds to be receptive to You. As we remember and honor those who have gone before us, may we reflect on our witness and the legacy we leave. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Terry Novak had another procedure yesterday and they feel they have stopped the bleeding. Please continue to pray for Terry.
I am taking this week off, but I will be in the pulpit on Sunday. The church office is closed today for the holiday.
Yesterday was a milestone, of sorts. I have been sending these daily email prayers to church members and friends (225 each day) since the beginning of Lent (February) 2010. Later that year I also began posting them on a blog which can be accessed through the church website www.centralenid.org. There are people that read this email there. Yesterday there had been 1,070 daily posts and 20,022 hits, meaning that 1070 prayers had been posted and the blog had been accessed over 20,000 times. The ripples continue outward.
Be safe and enjoy your Memorial Day.
Grace and peace,
John McLemore
