Empowering Spirit,
Move among us we pray. You meet us in the routine of our lives. You also come to us in surprising ways. May our hearts and minds be open to the mystery of Your presence. Help us to see You in the ordinary and in the miraculous. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Jane Adams is having surgery this morning at St. Mary’s hospital. Please pray for Jane. She will be in the hospital three to five days.
Fig Newton is recovering well from his surgery. Betty Unruh is still undergoing tests. Please continue to pray for Fig and Betty.
Jana Davis sent the following email: “John, I guess the people I love need extra prayers this week! Last night I received a text from Tiffany Meacham; her family formerly lived next door to us and have attended several family activities at Central. Their 8-yr-old son, Chandlar, was born with a heart defect and has already had several surgeries. His condition has not improved, so they will be traveling to Memphis for an appointment and possible surgery next week. I'm sure they would appreciate any prayers we can offer.
