Prayer for Today, Tuesday, May 14

Gracious God,

 

Some days we feel on top of the world and equal to the challenges that are before us. There are other times when we want to stay in bed, cover our heads with a sheet and avoid the inevitable obstacles that are a part of our journey. Help us, O Lord, to have the courage and strength to meet life head on. But also help us when we need a respite. May we learn and use the refreshing nature of leisure. In all situations, O God, we seek to honor You. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Junior College World Series of Baseball

Central Christian Church is teaming up with Enid Young Professionals to host a Midwest Region team during the baseball tournament May 25^th – June 1^st.  CCC is hosting a luncheon on May 25^th for the parents and players.  If you would like volunteer to bring a dish for the luncheon please contact Tiffany Harvey at 402-5633 or tiffany.ann.harvey@gmail.com or sign the signup sheet in the logia.  Also please come out and support our team while they are playing in the tournament of their lifetime.  Our goal is to make them feel at home and like they are family!
