Most Gracious God,
We continue to offer prayers for our brothers and sisters in south Oklahoma City and Moore. We know that a number of members of the Christian Church have lost their homes along with hundreds of others. May we respond with compassion and profound generosity. Oklahomans are a resilient people. As the days and weeks pass may we find additional ways to lend a helping hand. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

We have determined the best immediate response to the tragedy is to send money through the Week of Compassion. We will be receiving a special offering this Sunday and subsequent Sundays. As soon as we get the money we will send it on so that it can be put to work quickly. Later we will likely be doing other acts of kindness and mercy, but right now the best course of action is to pray and send money.
Sam Justice had a successful heart cath procedure yesterday. He did not require stints.
Fig Newton’s sister in Michigan, Arlene, is in the last days of her life. Please pray for Arlene and her family.
We will be hosting over 100 people on Saturday at noon, the Heartland Hawks from Normal, Illinois as well as a local little league team. Please come by and help us host the event. I believe Tiffany Harvey is still taking offers of food.
