Prayer for Today, Friday, October 18

Gracious God,

In Jesus you showed the world Your love. The Christ is light shining in our darkness. We dare to hope, because in such love and light, hope is born. Empower us to tell this truth to those around us. Hope is real, for this world and all its people. May we live this day in hope. In Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN.
