O God,
You beckon to us and call us by name. Sometimes we turn into Your embrace and feel the power of Your abundant grace. Sometimes, however, we turn away and, out of desperation, we seek other means of filling the emptiness within us. As we look around, help us to see those who are have experiencing the same struggles. Please forgive us all, Gracious God. Only You make us complete. May our journey be filled with opportunities to share the love that comes only from you, a love that sweeps us into all eternity. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Shirley West’s sister, Juanita Schulz, died. Her funeral will be on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Please pray for Juanita’s family.
John Stephens is at the Bass Pavilion and in need of prayers. Please pray for them.
Lana Ellis has asked for prayers for the family of John Riesen from Pioneer area who died recently. She specifically asked that we pray for his sons, Tim and David.
Please pray for our church as members and friends are prayerfully considering their Estimates of Giving for 2014.
The CACS/Civitan Dance is Friday. We need lots of 2 liter bottles of pop and cookies.
Trunk or treat is next Sunday, October 27. If you want to provide candy, bring it to the church office.
